Leeds United is pleased to announce that the club has signed the La Liga Real Sociedad defender
Llorente started his professional football career at Real Madrid and his debut at the Bernabéu Stadium in June 2013 was against Osasuna.
In the 2015/16 season, he joined Vallecano on loan in La Liga. At the end of the season, he completed his personal Spanish national team debut against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The following season he joined Málaga on loan and played 25 times.
In June 2017, he permanently transferred from Real Madrid to Real Sociedad and signed a contract for 5 years.
In the three seasons of Real Sociedad, he played 88 times and scored 8 goals. In his last game with the team 11 days ago, he finally drew 1-1 with Valladolid.
Llorente played 5 times for the Spanish national team. The last game he played was against Romania in May 2019, and the team won 2-1; he was on the bench against Germany and Ukraine earlier this month.
Llorente will wear the No. 14 shirt for Leeds United.
